Emily was born and raised outside of Chicago, and will always be a Midwest girl at heart.
She graduated with honors and a B.F.A. from Columbia where she was introduced to the lofty world of photography. It was during that time she began working with talented photographers who succeed in commercial, advertising, fashion, food and non-profit.
Emily is currently the photo editor for Austin's premier city magazines: Austin Monthly and Austin Monthly Home.
She is also a photo assistant, production assistant, retoucher and digital librarian. You may have also seen her in such roles as Fulbright finalist, Elvis impersonator, African culture connoisseur, traveler and wine enthusiast.
